A social location-guessing game where people share photos with friends and compete to guess where each photo was taken.
The system
Guessor is a consumer product from Xiaoyao Systems: a social game built around a simple mechanic that has to feel good in the hand.
People share photos with friends. Others guess where each photo was taken. The software has to carry that loop without getting in the way — accounts, rounds, guesses, and the small moments that make a game worth opening again.
It is a web application with a social core. The interesting work is in the product shape: enough structure for play, not so much that the photo stops being the point.
Xiaoyao Systems is based in Cape Town. Guessor is one of the products we build ourselves — the same standards we bring to custom software and MVP development for other founders and businesses.
